A Ham and Swiss Quiche To Eat


 
Ham and Swiss Quiche
Recipe:
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup 2% milk
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh rosemary
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1 cup diced ham steak, (5 ounces)
  • 3/4 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • Crushed red pepper
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Coat a 9-inch glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Whisk eggs and milk in a medium bowl. Then add mustard, rosemary, and pepper; whisk to combine.
  3. Toss ham, Swiss cheese,  and crushed red pepper in a large bowl. Add the egg mixture and toss well to coat. Place in baking dish.
  4. Bake until the custard has set, 50 to 60 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack and cool for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
Severs 8 to 10
Calories: Estimate 190 to 245
    This recipe has some kick to it, but it is worth it. Another hardy breakfast to serve at your table.

    There's nothing better than quiche. It's so easy yet so delicious. It would be lovely with swiss cheese; thanks for the idea.
